The Synchronous Firefly mating season is starting to tail off. GSMA's videographer, Gary Wilson spent a few late nights out in the woods capturing them in timelapse during the full moon period. Here are two sequence from two nights. In both shots, you see the moonlight break through the canopy around midnight, right as the fireflies tail off with their mating ritual. When the fireflies mate, it is one of the more enchanting times to be in the park to witness the event. | Smokies Life
